Pretty hefty title but it looks like Memorial University does have a lot of student cheating issues still after the pandemic that might just be kept swept under the rug. It’s no secret that a lot of international students cheat heavily academically, but so long as schools get their money, we’ve seen a blind eye turned.

We noticed that the top posts on Instagram under *any* MUN hashtag is rife with services to help international students cheat on their education here.

The use of like/comment bots are getting these posts trending and to the top of hashtags related to the university and we wonder if anything is being done to combat this?

We can see that these cheating scammers are just blasting all universities right now and cheating isn’t anything new when it comes to academics. I’m just starting to wonder how many people are utilizing these services and skating away with a degree they do not deserve.

The location pages and hashtag pages are spammed everyday with not only essay and dissertation writing services, but even for taking your tests. This is pretty wild and social media needs to do better to clamp down on this.

The staff is no doubt aware of all this since it’s not a new thing, but how often are students getting away with it? It’s a huge business and there’s no way to shutdown the spam for the services.
