I was browsing the Canadian newswire the other day and caught the scent of Meltwich perhaps opening up shop in Newfoundland & Labrador in the near future. The press release was initially about Odd Burger, the vegan burger chain under the same corporate umbrella in which Meltwhich is owned by. They have recently acquired area developer rights for Meltwich in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, and I would guess they’ll be opening in St. John’s.

We’re obsessed with cheese. The way it melts. The way it tastes. The way it elevates the flavour of everything it touches…  So we’ve dedicated our life to the celebration of cheese in all of its deliciously ooey-gooey forms! You can count on us to be on the leading edge of cheesy creativity, fusing it with premium ingredients into our inventive and craveable comfort food.

I’m all for more exciting food options here as well as the job opportunities it creates. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open to any new developments, but for now I’ll continue to satisfy those cravings via Oh My Cheeses.
