We are sad to share that The Tilting Cup is closing its doors in a few weeks, looks like early February 2023. This community staple had great food, great atmosphere and some of the best coffee in all of NL. I was here with family not too long ago while on vacation on Fogo Island, we stayed just down the street.

Our annual trip here this year will be quite a bit different and I’d honestly consider picking a different part of the Island this time round.They just posted on their Instagram account about why and when which you can see in the picture below. So if you want to get coffee and lunch in one more time, you better plan fast!

You can see that the news of The Tilting Cup closing is sad for a lot of folks and the comments are flooding in on that post since yesterday. We wish the owners best of luck in their next venture and we will have all those fond memories to look back on. I wonder what the space in will host next? Perhaps someone right now is wondering how they can make it work..
