Scott expressed optimism for the upcoming season, noting that last year’s successful iceberg viewings have contributed to a surge in bookings for 2024.

The growing fascination with icebergs is evident in the rapid expansion of the Newfoundland Iceberg Reports Facebook group, which has grown from 800 members to over 78,000 in just a few years.

Group administrator Diane Davis has observed increased participation from both locals and international visitors eager to track and share sightings of these majestic natural wonders.
