The Battery bright light fiasco in St. John’s continues to escalate and new developments keep happening. Today I saw this recent news clip on TikTok from the other day where we see saws coming out, more lights going up out of spite all which only further builds tension between the two parties. It’s too bad a civil solution cannot be agreed upon here, I only see this getting worse as the shenanigans continue to roll on.
@bethpenney What do you think? Is it a dispute between neighbours, or should government get involved? #ntvnews #outerbattery #newfoundlandandlabrador ♬ original sound – Beth Penney
Neighbours are certainly at a breaking point and we will have to wait and see what happens next. I imagine we’ll eventually see an adult solution to the bright lights in The Battery and things will go back to normal.
