A drive-by shooting in the Cowan Heights neighbourhood of St. John’s happened at around 6:45 PM on December 11th. This news hits home as this is right in my area and within minutes nearly a dozen cop cars came racing to the area. There is a video of the shooting captured, but it’s private and we don’t have the rights to it so you can watch it at this link.

One thing’s for sure though, eight total shots were fired at what appears to be a house on Canada Drive. I have not heard a peep about it on the news or anywhere else which is a bit concerning. This kind of gun violence is unacceptable, and hopefully the police apprehend whomever was responsible quickly.
