Redsea Riding Ride-Sharing License Revoked In St. John’s

Update: Redsea Riding has had their license revoked as our inept government didn’t vet properly and turns out the CEO is facing child sex assault charges. YUCK.

Redsea Riding has been issued the first ride-sharing licence in the province. Redsea Riding is a locally owned and operated company by Yosief Tesfamicael and currently employs 10 drivers, with active recruitment for more drivers underway.

The company is preparing to launch its services in the St. John’s metro area, which includes several surrounding communities. The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, expressed her pleasure at issuing the first licence to Redsea Riding and highlighted the effort to ensure the regulations are fair and provide a clear set of rules for ride-share operators.

“I am pleased to see the first ride-sharing licence issued to Redsea Riding and congratulate Yosief on this incredible accomplishment. Our team have worked hard to ensure the Regulations are fair, providing a clear and simple set of rules for ride-share operators. I encourage anyone who may be interested to visit our website for more information.”

Yosief Tesfamicael, CEO and Co-Founder of Redsea Riding, thanked the government and Minister Stoodley for their support during the application process and expressed his commitment to providing reliable and safe ride-sharing services.

I cannot find much information from his LinkedIn, nor could I find any apps or websites so will have to see what comes of this.
