Marble Mountain Ski Resort in Newfoundland is gearing up for an exciting 2024 season, with several enhancements planned to improve the overall guest experience. These improvements have led to an increase in the price of season passes. The resort’s management has justified this increase by citing the need for enhanced facilities and infrastructure.
This price increase is attributed to inflation and the cost of goods, including a newly purchased groomer and the cost of revitalizing the Black Mariah lift, which is fully operational for the first time in five years
In addition to these improvements, the resort is also expanding its trail offerings. Three new trails have been developed, bringing the total number of trails to 44 for the upcoming season. One of these new additions is a ski and snowboard cross-training course, designed to cater to high-end racing style athletes.
As for the current status of the resort, the official opening date for the 2024 season has not been set yet. However, in recent years, the hill has typically opened around mid-January.
The resort is ready for a snow-filled winter, with some natural snow already covering the mountain which is great news! Marble Mountain Ski Resort is expected to employ around 160 unionized staff members by mid-season.
