I just saw on Twitter that Jay Baruchel was in Newfoundland for a time. Looks like Jay was here to direct Mark Critch’s new show that will be coming out this year. Over on his Instagram account you can see he enjoyed seeing the sights of our beautiful province and just before he left, made a quintessential stop at Cape Spear with his lovely wife.

We’re so glad you had a time here in Newfoundland Jay and I know you’ll be back to see more. The replies of kindness and that Newfoundland spirit were abound in his replies and it’s a beautiful thing to see. I look forward to seeing what comes of Mark’s new show and I hope this puts a little more attention on this province and brings more filming business our way.
