Today we’ve got something quite interesting to share and that’s the Journal of Council book from 1864. So calling all history buffs and lovers, this might be of interest to you. Keep in mind I am not the person to ask about Newfoundland & Labrador history sorry to say, but I did find this extremely interesting and this would be a hoot to read through.

The book is for sale on Ebay Canada and the seller says that the book is in “good condition for its age” and the size of the book is 9.75″ x 6.5″ for those wondering. This book will have all sorts of information from that year about the postal service, lighthouse upkeep, protection of the fisheries from the French and so forth.
