Off The Grid Cabin Rental Near St John's

If you’re looking for an off the grid cabin rental near St John’s then look no further than the Trappers Cabin. This cozy for two cabin is just above the town of Petty Harbour, and requires a bit of a hike to get up to it..that or you take a zip line in. This cabin is offered as a package with the North Atlantic Zipline company, however it can be rented on its own.

The Trappers lodge is a 40 year old recently revamped lodge situated in the picturesque slopes of Petty Harbour. It has a generator, wood oven, and washroom offices that are outside found neighbouring the lodge. The noise of the world disappears up here and you can enjoy nature and a few creature comforts set amongst the trees.

This off the grid cabin is for just two guests, has one bed and one half bathroom tucked away in its small footprint. The indoor fireplace is perfect for those cool mornings and nights, but it’s the outdoor swinging seats that do it for me. Imagine sipping a glass of wine while taking in that view. For some reason there is a TV here, but I doubt it gets much use by guests for obvious reasons. Now if only there was a hot tub!
