A new restaurant called Rabble is coming to St. John’s and Todd Perrin from Mallard Cottage looks to be heavily involved. I’m guessing it’s his new restaurant, but details are scarce and I don’t want to put any rumours out there.
However, it’s quite official as they’ve got an Instagram account…oh and a restaurant on Water Street in St. John’s by the looks of it.
This is quite exciting as the food scene here has room for more, especially more great local talent that continues to push Newfoundland & Labrador cuisine to new heights.
On October 12th, 2023, Chef Todd Perrin put this out on his instagram stating he was leaving Mallard Cottage but didn’t say why.
I’ll update more when I know more but we all wish the team over there the best of luck and wishes as they prepare for opening day come Spring 2024.
